Who we are

We’re a small team of engineers, designers, and hustlers who believe in creating beautiful products for event lovers. We believe in empowering anyone to create and experience events for things they’re passionate about -- be it a dance party, fundraiser, conference, or BBQ. We ship constantly, have a bias for action, and enjoy doing great work everyday. We go above and beyond for our customers, and we’ll do whatever it takes to provide them with a great experience. We also have a lot of fun. We play 80s hits in the office daily, enjoy weekly team events, and are slowly developing a world class ping pong team.

What we look for

We look for interesting people who want to make a big impact, but can also thrive in a fast moving environment. You’ll need to be a self-starter who can ideate and execute with minimal guidance. Lastly, you’ll need to be passionate about events. If all of this describes you and there’s a role you think you’re a perfect fit for, drop us a note at

iOS Engineer

When people go to events they’re on their phones, not their computers. Mobile is where the event industry is going and we’re looking for an iOS developer to completely own the Eventjoy iOS experience and play a large role in our overall mobile strategy. You’ll be driving the development on both of our iOS apps (attendee and organizer) to help improve the experience and scale to millions of users. Not to mention, you’ll help us develop cool things around emerging technologies like wearables. The ideal person is comfortable with executing with little direction and gets excited about shipping product frequently (we roll out major features nearly weekly). We’ve already built an immense amount of product and we’re a small team with just two engineers. We expect our first mobile engineer to be equally as hungry and motivated to make an impact. You’ll be a part of the founding team and will help set the direction for both our product and culture.

What you’ll need to have

  • High proficiency with Objective C and developing for iOS

  • Shipped at least one native iOS app (Link us to it!)

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science (or similar) or 2+ years as a professional developer

  • A keen eye for good user experience

  • A strong interest in current and upcoming mobile technology

  • A desire to learn from and work with other mobile product teams (i.e. Android)

What we’d like to see

  • A passion for events

Be sure to include your Github username, Stack Overflow username, and portfolio/blog links.

Senior UI/UX Designer

We heavily believe in the power of design to create beautiful, engaging experiences that people love. We value design in everything we do and it’s what makes Eventjoy such a powerful tool for event organizers and their attendees. We’re looking for a lead product designer to craft new experiences that our users will love. You’ll be taking new ideas from wire framing to high fidelity mockups. The role is equal parts crafting pixels and creating intuitive interactions. We have a large platform for different kinds of users across both web and mobile. You’ll be owning the creative direction across both platforms. The ideal person has experience building beautiful products and is excited by the challenge of working across web and mobile products. You’ll also be a part of the founding team and will help set the direction for both our product and culture.

What you’ll need to have

  • Experience designing amazing products (Link us to them)

  • Excitement about taking product ideas from the whiteboard to production extremely fast.

  • You’ve built things with CSS/HTML5.

  • Great communication skills as you’ll be an advocate for the user experience.

What we’d like to see

  • Experience designing for both web and mobile.

  • Knowledge of how to use analytics to make product decisions and iterate.

Be sure to include your Dribbble username, creative portfolio, Github username, and links to products you’ve worked on.
